Ms. Carolyn Essie Draughn
Carolyn Essie Draughn of Kingsport, Tennessee, formerly of Tampa, Florida, entered our Savior’s open arms on December 27, 2021. Ms. Draughn was a beloved mother and a very loved Nana. She had a strong faith in Jesus Christ and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Ms. Draughn worked for Frontier Health, but later moved to Florida and began her career with the City of Tampa Police Department from which she retired. She returned to Tennessee and was currently working part-time for the City of Mount Carmel.
Ms. Draughn was preceded in death by her father, Frank Draughn, and her son-n-law, Samuel Campbell. She is survived by her mother, Hazel Draughn, Kingsport, Tennessee, her brother, Johnny Draughn (Wanda), Coeburn, Virginia, her daughters; Tiffiany Jacobs (Allen) Kingsport, Tennessee, and Tabitha Campbell, Blountville, Tennessee, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Per Ms. Draughn’s wishes there will be no services, but rather a celebration of healing for the immediate family. Clark’s Funeral Home is assisting the family during this time.
