Mrs. Jannie Davis

Jannie Bell Finch Davis, of Bristol TN, entered the world on the 12th of October 1938 and was called home on the same day 82 years later on the 12th of October 2020. God has her in his arms and we will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing Bingo. Her outgoing spirit made everyone gravitate toward hers. Noone was a stranger and everyone became family due to her love and her ability to not turn anyone away. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Bristol, Va.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Lucy Finch; son, Junior Lee Finch; and granddaughter, Cleopatra McMorris.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Davis; daughters, Margaret Williams, Jenevia D. White, and Sally L. White; sons, David W. Williams and Tommy L. Williams; granddaughter, Tameka White that she raised; her beloved cousin, Willie Holt (Fox); grandchildren, Archie (Robert), Towanda, Michael, Takeima, Andre, Telisha, Roderick, Carisma, Termaine, Lawanda, Tommy Jr., Kishla, Vernon, Derrick, Antoine, Andrian, Brianna, Marquis, Jamison, David, Noah, D’Cormier, Shameke, Marvin, Ashley, David D., Jonica, and a host of more grandchildren that are not named but were loved unconditionally by her; a host of great-grandkids, great-great grandkids, as well as nieces and nephews.

Services for Mrs. Jannie Davis will be conducted Friday, October 23, 2020 at 2 pm from Lee Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the hour of service.
