Chris McKinney departed this life on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Chris was a graduate of Dobyns Bennett High School. He shared his talent for cooking by working at several restaurants and also worked in one of the cafeterias at Eastman. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Tribble; sister, Dawan McKinney Temple; nephew, Brayden; grandmother, Linda McKinney; and grandfather, Kenneth Leeper. Jannie Bell Finch Davis, of Bristol TN, entered the world on the 12th of October 1938 and was called home on the same day 82 years later on the 12th of October 2020. God has her in his arms and we will carry her memory in our hearts forever. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing Bingo. Her outgoing spirit made everyone gravitate toward hers. Noone was a stranger and everyone became family due to her love and her ability to not turn anyone away. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Bristol, Va. Albert was the fourth son born January 19, 1961, to the proud parents, John and Lucinda Pete. Albert was born and raised on the west side of Chicago where he and his brother were well known and sought after by all the ladies. He received his formal education through the Chicago Public School System. During his life, Alber picked up several skills and trades which taught him how to be good with his hands and landed him many jobs. Mrs. Bertha French Spencer

Bertha French Spencer, daughter of the late Thelma Ward French and Eleanor M. French, was born on November 18, 1933, in Dublin, Virginia. She was one of six children. Bertha received her K through 12 education in the public-school system of Bristol, Virginia. She furthered her education attending Knoxville College in Knoxville, Tennessee. While attending college, she was initiated into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Bertha was a lifetime member of the organization. She graduated from Knoxville with an undergraduate degree in Education.
