Mr. Frederick Shazor

Frederick Shazor departed this life Thursday, April 30, 2020, at Banner Estrella Medical Center Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. Fred was a graduate of Virginia High School. He went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force earning a host of medals and awards along the way. He was preceded in death by his father, William "Bill" Shazor, Sr.; mother, Neola R. Shazor; and brother, Joseph Shazor. Fred is survived by two sisters, Bernetta "Bertie" (Harris) Howard and Ruth Falls; one brother, William L. Shazor, Jr.; uncle, Paul (Hattie) Ervin; aunt, Candida Shazor; special friends, Julia Lewis and Mansfield Cody; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mr. Tyree Ford

Tyree S. Ford departed this life Friday, April 24, 2020. Survivors include his mother, Velma Staten; grandmother, Sarah Ann Ford; grandfather, Charles Ford Sr.; two brothers; Jermaine Carpenter and Jamar Hardy; and two sisters, Jakia Ford and Keetha Ford. A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date.

Ms. Mary Linda McKinney

Ms. Linda McKinney departed this life on Friday, April 24, 2020. She was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Price; father, Lenord Price; granddaughter, Dwan Temple; great-grandson, Brayden Temple; sister, Fonnie Canty Amoako; and brothers, Hampton Turner, Jerry Price, and Timothy Price. She leaves behind her daughter, Dawn McKinney; son John McKinney; grandchildren, Christy McKinney, Taylor McKinney, Kenneth McKinney, Dejonna McKinney; great-grandchildren, Annaleigh, Kaniece, Drevin, and Twan; her sister, Joyce Tarter, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Xavier S. Skaggs

Xavier Sanchez Skaggs departed this life on April 20, 2020. He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Jessie Nash; great-grandmother, Adell Nash; grandmother, Nora Lee Skaggs; aunts, Bobbette Skaggs, and Johnnie Mae Nash; and uncle, James Nash. To cherish his memory Xavier leaves behind his daughters, Jorah Peters and Zaviery Skaggs; life-long friend, Lauren Easley; mother, Jereka Skaggs; 4 brothers, James, Terrel, Jadus, and Lee Charles; sister, Tamya Jones; grandparents, Dana Skaggs and Jerry (Vivian) Nash; uncles, Jimmy (Staci) Nash and Robert (Jacqueline) Turner; aunt, Serena Skaggs; as well as a host of cousins and friends.

Mrs. Sherry Renee Jones

Sherry Renee Jones departed this life on April 12, 2020, at Ballad Bristol Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. A mom and grandmom and wife. A sister who loved life worked hard, smiled big, and made everyone laugh. She left behind her wonderful husband, three children, six loving grandkids, two brothers, a daughter-in-law, and loving friends.

Ms. Sandra McGue

Sandra McGue, 54, daughter of Clarence and Juanita McGue, was born July 23, 1965, in Kingsport, TN. Sandra received her wings on April 7, 2020. Sandra was a talented musician and singer. She was witty, humorous, and strong-willed. She was devoted to her family and friends. Sandra was preceded in death by her loving parents Clarence and Juanita McGue. She leaves to mourn her death, her brother Clarence Roderick McGue; sister, Sheila L. McGue; niece, Jamia Poole; nephews, Tremell McGue, Marlon McGue, and Malik McGue; great-nieces Inaya and Amira; aunts, Virginia Williams, Priscilla Beatty, Margaret Wiley, Peggy Griffin; and uncle, Charles Griffin. She has a host of cousins who she cherished. S

Ms. Hazel Gibbs

Hazel Gibbs, 94, of Bristol, VA peacefully passed in her home surrounded by the love and support of her family on Saturday, April 4, 2020. She was born in Clinchco, Va to Fuller and Vera Ray. Hazel was a woman of strong will, honesty, and deep devotion to Jehovah God and her family. She was a lifetime associate member of the United Mine Workers of America. She is survived by her brother, Marcel Ray; three daughters, Frances Chery, Catherine McKnight, and Victoria McKnight; two sons, James Gibbs and Tony Gibb; as well as a plethora of grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Dallas Eugene Rasnick

Dallas Eugene Rasnick departed this life Friday, April 3, 2020. He was born on February 6, 1951. Dallas was a native of Elizabethton, TN. He was preceded in death by his sister, Daisy (Dan) Ornduff; brothers, Tony Rasnick, Keith Rasnick, Coeburn Rasnick, Dennis Rasnick, and Hal Rasnick; and brother-in-law, Stephen Phillips. He is survived by his special sister, Zella Rasnick Phillips; sister-in-law, Kathy Rasnick; nieces, Rena Hyatt, Linsey Hyatt, and Kelsey Thorpe; and nephews, Jimmy "J.J." Hyatt Jr. and Aden C. Hyatt. Following CDC recommendations a private graveside will be conducted Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at Morrell Cemetery Bluff City TN.
