Mrs. Mary Evelyn Hill Johnson was born September 1, 1937, to Robert and Carrie Hill. She departed this life on Friday, February 28, 2020, at Ballad Johnston Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mary was one of 11 children and the twin of Nancy. She graduated from Douglass High School in 1956 and married the love of her life Billy Mack Johnson August 31, 1957. Mary worked hard to provide for her family and was known for opening her home to style hair. Mary was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Community Church in Glade Spring Virginia. Ms. Glenda Martinez (Deadrick) Tucker was born to the late Walter and Willie Mae Deadrick on November 4, 1950 in Thornhill, Tennessee. She departed this life on February 13, 2020. Glenda was a Christian and serving God through Jesus Christ was extremely important to her. Glenda was educated in the public schools of Kingsport, Tennessee and graduated from Dobyns Bennett High School. She later attended Steed College. Glenda married Glenn Tucker and they had two children. Glenda was an extremely intelligent woman.
