Today we celebrate the life of Maryland Louise Carter. The only child of the late Frances Eleanor Carter and John D. Carter. As promised for acceptance and servitude, God granted her reprieve from this life on Saturday, April 13, 2019, and took her home to be next to him. Maryland accepted Christ into her heart many years ago at Harris Anderson A.M.E. Zion Church. Much can be said about the life of Maryland, as she passed through life's stages one thing was constant. She did it her way. She lived life just the way she wanted to and her carefree spirit was a breath of fresh air and was contagious to anyone that came into contact with her. Maryland graduated from Douglas High School in Bristol
