Ms. Darlene P. Hill

Darlene Patrice Hill was born October 26, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Arthur L. Hill Sr. and Shirley J. Hill. She passed away peacefully October 29, 2018, in Abingdon, Virginia at Abingdon Health and Rehab. She is survived by two sons, Jeremy Lamar Hill of Sevierville, Tennessee and Zachary Tyler Hill of Glade Spring, Virginia. Darlene is the sixth of eight children and one foster-brother. Darlene Hill graduated from Virginia High School in Bristol, Virginia in 1980 and attended St. Augustine College in Raleigh, North Carolina. Darlene wrote a short story titled "The Fundraiser" published by Virginia Highlands Community College and was also in the process of writing a novel call

Ms. Tammy Patton

Tammy Patton departed this journey of life at Franklin Woods Hospital in Johnson City, TN April 16, 2018. Tammy was born February 4, 1963, in Hartford CT. She spent the remainder of her life in Bristol TN. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, William Henry Patton Jr. and sister Danita Patton Gudger. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Frances Coffey Patton Worthington; brother, Darrin Patton; daughter, Jessica Parks; five grandchildren; one aunt; two uncles; and a host of cousins and friends. She also leaves to mourn her passing, dear friends Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cribbs, and Mr. Randy Fox. A celebration of life service will be conducted Saturday, October 27, 2018, at 3:00 pm at John Wesley

Elder Theodorsia Chisholm McMillan departed this life on Monday, October 15, 2018. Her life’s journey began September 20, 1953, in Charlottesville, Virginia, the third of four children born to Marcia C. Coles. Elder McMillan was predeceased by her daughter, Lynn Shelton; husband, James McMillan; oldest sister, Charlene Copeland; and mother, Marcia Coles. Educated in the Charlottesville City Schools, Theodorsia attended the historic Jefferson Elementary School and graduated from Lane High School. She started her professional career at Centel Phone Company (now CenturyLink, Inc.) in the late 1970’s, having worked there as a dedicated customer service representative for almost 42 years. Survivors include one, Mr. Dustin Heath Cross; daughter, Ms. Jessie Young; sister, Ms. Tina Greer; brother, Mr. Edward Rex Cross Jr.; Five grandchildren, Seth Young, Jocee Young, Lil David Young, Creedon Lane, and Alliyah Lane; as well as one special cousin, Ms. Sandy Burnett.
