Evang. Deborah J. Hairston-Wheeler born March 25, 1955, in Gary, WV to the late Suff. Bishop Joe A. and Sis. Naomi J. Hairston. Deborah transitioned from this life on August 25, 2018, after a long battle with illness. She spent the last nine months with her family in Bristol. Deborah was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost on August 4, 1967. She graduated from Gary High School in 1973. She went to beauty college and graduated in 1974 as a licensed beautician. Deborah was raised as an active member of District 23 and served at both Apostolic Temple in Gary, WV and New Jerusalem Holiness Church in Lester, WV during her youth. William Howard Hoard departed this life Thursday, August 23rd after a lengthy illness. Howard was the third of four children born to the union of the late William "Billy" Hoard and Gladys Christine "Chris" Hoard. He graduated from Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended East Tennessee State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business. Howard was employed for many years by Mead Paper/Willamette Industries and most recently by the Upper East Tennessee Development Agency. Mrs. Linda Wade

Linda Hale Wade departed this life on August 13, 2018, after a brief illness. Linda Wade was born on April 8, 1956, in Kingsport, Tennessee to the late Robert E. Hale Sr. and Rebecca M. Hale. She was the youngest of six children. She is a graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School, class of 1975, where she was one of the very first African-American women to be elected to the cheer squad. She was employed at Eastman Chemical Company as a chemist for 25 years.
