Mr. B.C. Camp

In the early hours of March 30, 2018, BC Camp Sr. made his transition in Kingsport, TN. After struggling with numerous medical issues for over a decade and a half God called BC home after complications from a massive stroke earlier in the week. BC was born on January 18, 1951 in Gafney, SC. He was the youngest of six children born to Bennie Camp and Ella Louise Huskey Camp. When he was in high school, he moved to stay with his aunt, Grace Watkins, in Johnson City, TN. He graduated from Science Hill High School and then enlisted in the Marines at age 18. Mr. William Bernard Hendricks of Bristol, Virginia, known to most as “Willie” at age 102, joined his parents and wife Lura Belle Laws Hendricks to be with God on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was the last of 10 children born to Mr. Charles Hendricks, Jr. and Mrs. Martha Clark Hendricks on June 12, 1915 in Russell County, Lebanon, Virginia. William Hendricks graduated high school in Russell County, Virginia and received a B.S. in English from Bluefield State Teachers College formally BCI College in Bluefield, West Virginia.
