Mrs. Peggy Lane

Heaven gained an amazing angel. Peggy Marie Mellons Lane peacefully went home to be with the Lord on January 30, 2017. She loved going fishing, cooking for everyone, and going to Gatlinburg. She was a strong willed woman with loved ones surrounding her. She will be dearly missed, but always in our hearts and memories, until we meet again! Mrs. Lane is survived by her husband, R.B Lane; two sons, Corey Lane (Lauren Williams, fiancé), and Cody Lane; one daughter, Holly (Jonathan) Smith; two grandsons, Jacquees and Hakeem Smith; sister, Ginger Tipton; two nephews, a great nephew, as well as a host of many loving friends.

Rev. Delbert "Donny" Wade

Reverend Delbert “Donny” Wade departed this life on January 21, 2017 doing what he loved best—preaching God’s Word. Reverend Wade was born on April 22, 1955 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Aaron McCroskey, Sr. and the late Kathryn Wade McCroskey. He was the oldest of four children. He accepted Christ at a young age and loved everything about the church. He grew up in a religious atmosphere and had loving parents to nurture him in his Christian journey. He always knew what his purpose was while here on earth—to be a servant of the Lord. He graduated from Oakland High School, Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 1973 and moved to Kingsport in the early 1980’s where he was employed at Eastman Chemical Com

On Monday January 16,2017, Cynthia Hale slipped quietly and peacefully into God's arms. Cynthia Hale was born on September 21, 1967 in Kingsport TN. She was the oldest of four children. Cynthia was a loving mother of four and devoted the majority of her life raising her children. She was recently baptized and became a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church.
